DETAILED ITINERARY
ABOUT THE DESTINATION
For those wishing to experience the ethereal beauty of Himachal Pradesh, the Bhaba Pass Trek is an ideal trekking expedition to venture on to. The pass lies at an altitude of 15,200 ft. and connects the contrasting valleys of Kinnaur and Spiti in Himachal.
Bhaba Pass is the gateway between Kinnaur and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh and is frequently used by local shepherds to crossover between two valleys.
One of the most alluring treks in the Himachal region, the Bhaba Pass trek unfolds a new mystery at every turn and provides you with all the thrills and adventures you are looking for in this trek. Though, the trek is not a very challenging one but, it still requires a good understanding of snow conditions and a fair amount of physical fitness. To reach the pass, you will have to be mentally prepared to cross gurgling rivers, climb steep and snowy slopes, walk on glacial beds and pass through narrow gorges and rocky moraines. Needless to say, the divine beauty of snow-clad mountain peaks, charming hamlets, stunning apple orchards, dewy meadows, carpets of alpine flowers, virgin forests and gorgeous landscapes following you through the route will make your journey easy and rewarding. Once you reach the Bhaba Pass, breath-taking vistas of surrounding mountains, Kinnaur and Spiti valleys and Pin-Parvati Pass, will make you speechless and you will want to stay here till eternity. Descent from the Bhaba Pass takes you through the Pin valley that lies on the periphery of the Pin Valley National Park, giving ample opportunities to have a glimpse at rare Himalayan birds and animals including snow leopards, ibex, and Himalayan fox.
The Bhaba Pass Trek, besides offering you an opportunity to soak your souls in exquisite scenic beauty and wildlife adventures, also offers you chances to interact with local Himachali people living in extreme cold conditions sometimes even braving atrocities of weather. You will also have an opportunity to witness a dramatic shift in landscapes, cultures, language, and people as you move from end of the pass to the other, leaving you amazed and astounded.
Usually commencing from the hill town of Shimla and ending at Manali via Kaza, Kunzum La and Rohtang Pass, the Bhaba Pass Trek can be completed in 7-8 days.

Toilets On Trek: There will be a separate toilet tents. For a bigger group ( more than 8 trekkers ), separate toilet tents for men and women will be provided to keep up with the timings. The toilets will be a dry toilet where a pit will be dug and will contain a hump of mud outside. You can use wet tissue papers. After you finish your business, you need to cover the dump with the mud outside. A small shovel will be kept for the purpose. You should not use water in the toilet pit. When we shift camps, we will ensure that the pit is well covered and the area is clean. For tea house treks, toilets are well maintained by the owners.
