DETAILED ITINERARY
ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Borasu Pass (5300Mt) is a high mountain pass that is located on the border of Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh along the border with tibet. it was an ancient trade route between har-ki-doon valley and kinnaur valley. it is no longer used by the locals and is an escapade for trekkers and mountaineers. The Trek starts from taluka and passes through the lush green har-ki-dun valley. har-ki-dun is a hanging valley in the garhwal himalayas, surrounded by magnificent himalayan peaks and dense forests flocked with colourful birds and wild life. the trek starts by following the boisterous har-ki-dun ends with the colossal baspa river. one can stay in the forest rest house in leisure or camp near Har-Ki-Doon ganga. also, one can camp near the beautiful glacial lake at manida lake a few km from Har-Ki-Doon the trail passes through glacier moraine, steep narrow ridges, sheer vertical snow slopes and boulder fields. all in all, it is a nerve-wracking trek – a stunning mix of backwoods and vast meadows, packed with spurting rivers and widespread glaciers, with a view of snow-capped peaks and massive boulders. cloaked in mystery, and located at an altitude of 3566m, this almost untouched land is situated in the westernmost part of the himalayas. a challenge to the adventurers, Har-Ki-Doon is supposed to have shared part of its history with the pandavas.
Borasu Pass and Har-Ki-Doon peak, it is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Western Himalayas. A delight for trekkers, both in summer and winter, this valley is accessible through Govind National Park – known for its rich variety of flora and fauna. The trail through alpine meadows, moraine ridges, glacier basins, pine forests and ancient villages, gives you spectacular valley views and a chance to experience the wonderful slow-paced local lifestyle.
This is the only valley from where one can see Swargarohini – I, II, III, (6300mt) Bandarpoonch and Blackpeak (6387mt), all together. One can also see the Ruinsara Lake (3400 mt) peaks from here.

Toilets On Trek: There will be a separate toilet tents. For a bigger group ( more than 8 trekkers ), separate toilet tents for men and women will be provided to keep up with the timings. The toilets will be a dry toilet where a pit will be dug and will contain a hump of mud outside. You can use wet tissue papers. After you finish your business, you need to cover the dump with the mud outside. A small shovel will be kept for the purpose. You should not use water in the toilet pit. When we shift camps, we will ensure that the pit is well covered and the area is clean. For tea house treks, toilets are well maintained by the owners.
